Should I Sell My House Now? Timing is Everything
14Oct

Wondering when the ideal time to sell your Parkland home is?The answer could be right now. I always want to help you make the smartest decisions when it comes to your real estate investments, and that’s why it’s important to know that right now is the absolutely ideal time to sell your home because of the current seller’s market. Inventory is low, prices are rising, and pent-up demand alongside low mortgage rates has the market flooded with homebuyers.

SO YOU ASK, SHOULD I SELL MY HOUSE NOW?
The answer to this question can be found in three little words in real estate, timing is everything. 2021 is a Sellers Market,The housing market is not just hot right now, it is one of the hottest housing markets in US history. It is not just booming, it’s historic. The explanation for this is simple – we now stand at an intersection where historically tight supply meets unprecedented demand. Here’s what you need to know about this extraordinary moment. Tight supply means houses are selling for more than asking price and spending less time on the market, Unsurprisingly, prices are skyrocketing. Low inventory means buyers are bidding above asking price, without contingencies, and often in cash,This limited supply keeps prices high as buyers compete to get a deal.In Parkland, historically tight supply is raising home prices to unheard-of levels. But there is more.

MORTGAGE RATES ARE HISTORICALLY LOW, INCREASING DEMAND FOR HOUSES
Mortgage interest rates have been at historic lows this year. Low-interest rates mean that buyers can save thousands of dollars over the lifetime of their home loan, pushing many new buyers into a market already short on supply, spiking demand, and further strengthening the position of sellers, If you’re ready to sell your house, know that the motivation for buyers to purchase right now is as high as ever with interest rates where they are today. It’s simple: in real estate, timing is important because things can change quickly. The housing market might look dramatically different months from now, as supply continues to increase, and rising mortgage rates push down demand but right now exists an unprecedented opportunity for sellers to take advantage of an historic seller’s market. If you are looking to get the highest price for your home, in the shortest amount of time, now might be the best moment to sell in any of our lifetimes The decision to sell your home is a personal one, and the right time is different for everybody. That said, the housing market is currently in the midst of an unprecedented boom and it might just be the perfect storm to sell your house now.

Remember in Real Estate, timing is everything.

Hodes’ philosophy is “local knowledge gets the best results.” He prides himself on always being available to his clients, always answering his phone and being at every showing. “I have been a Parkland resident for 23 years,” he explained. “I raised my family here and I am a very active member of the community. “One of my proudest accomplishments as vice president of Parkland basketball was helping create three scholarships, awarded each year to high school seniors who play in the league. “The scholarships are in the names of three boys: Luke Hoyer, Alex Schachter and Joaquin Oliver, who I
personally had the privilege of coaching and who played in our basketball league. They tragically lost their lives at Stoneman Douglas on February 14, 2018.”
